I go to where I can get the best price for what I'm looking for. Often that happens to be Walmart. I live in a Capitalist society...and like it.
Amen. Like Wal-Mart or not they have driven others to become more efficient and competitive just as Asian cars did 30 years ago.
We used to have a Hyper-Mart nearby. It was a Walmart on sterioids. You could find everything there, even groceries. I don't know why it closed.

We have a "Meijers" amongst others - a Michigan-based competitor.
They have several red colored signs at the door asking people to use masks, and a sign asking families to limit the number who actually enter the store, so I stay outside and let my wife do the shopping. She tells me that the first thing you encounter inside is a display of masks and hand sanitizer for sale.
I refuse to go there. Wlmart as a corporation treats their employees with disrespect. I will not go into detail You all are aware.
The last time I was there 10-15 years ago. I was in line at a self checkout. There was one person in front of me. An employee pulled the chain in front of me thus closing the line. I left my cart there, with ice cream and a couple of steaks, and walked out. There are plenty of choices.

Why? You don't like buying something at a affordable price? Or you don't being in the same place as those lowly walmart shoppers?
I do some of my monthly shopping at Walmart for a few reasons - the only place I can find the product rather than online - price - being retired 20+ yrs inflation has cut deeply into my budget - I am a retired grocery worker and watch my prices on certain items -Walmart butter $2.89 Safeway $4.89 @ 6=$12 on one item I could go on but I will say I don't buy many food items at Wally World - but I do get to practice my favorite pass time - "people watching"

Walmart is no longer the low price store it once was. You now can often find many product they sell, at a better price in some other big box stores, which did not used to be the case.
As for low cost groceries, shop at Aldis, it is much better priced than Walmart and any other major grocery chain. Too bad if you don't have one by you, but if you do, just go and do some price comparisons, you will be amazed at how low cost an Aldi shop is, compared to everything else around you.

Ummm, so you won't be buying anything anymore then? No computer, no monitor, no TV, no phone, no car, a lot of what goes into making any car is made in China. Unless you stop shopping, you just can't get away from it anymore, like it or not, it is almost all from China today.
Summertime in the South sort of requires shorts instead of pants. -
Never have seen the outrageous Walmart patrons shown in online videos. Where were those shot? Florida? Nevada? California? Texas?
