Wonderful photograph. You are correct. Our flag is made up of pride, patriotism, bravery, fighting spirit, comraderie, love of country; it took many groups of people from all over the world to make one country that is the best on the planet.

With a fine image like this, you might consider creating a note card for personal use. 4x6 prints pasted on matte paper or printing with an inkjet printer is fairly simple process. Strathmore makes a note card for pasting in a 4X6 print that makes a very nice presentation.

I have always wanted a nice flag pole to put Old Glory on. I installed one this spring and my Flag flies at Half Staff and will continue too until this pandemic is over, to honor all the military men and women and the other people of the U.S. who have died or will die. It is a shame, as you said UTMike, that the young people have NO respect for Old Glory. I have stood up many times, to honor our Flag and I have almost gone to jail doing so. If you disgrace the Flag I WILL SPEAK UP, NO MATTER WHAT, and if I have to go to jail so be it. I would like to go on and on, but I will stop for now, Thank you to ALL who served or are serving!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. Many of the younger generations seem unable to grasp the concept of our flag as a symbol of the conflicts, wars, and loss of lives represented by it. I had one younger person tell me it is nothing more than an object and as an object does not deserve respect. They fail to see it as a symbol and an icon of the liberties and freedoms we have maintained for 146 years.
