. . . was enjoyed for din-din tonight. That would be my fav meal, a BLT with my home grown dermaters! I would have posted a pix, but my puter went belly up couple wks ago, and new Mac hasn’t arrived yet. So just let visions dance through your cranial cavities of red ripe, home grown slices piled high with extra thick applewood smoked bacon, a leaf of crisp lettuce, all slathered in Mayo - - - mouth watering yet?

Sorry to put all y’all through this, but, man, was it ever delicio!!!

I am right behind you. My tomatoes are almost ripe - that is one of my favorite meals as well!

Burpee's Big Boys?
The best (my opinion).
Just about same size of a slice of bread.
And two just legal (small) fried soft crabs, or a crab cake.

Glad you enjoyed your meal. I have never understood the desire to put salad on top of the best part of the sandwich. I prefer my salad on the side.

Not my ideaof a BLT, NTY. But I understand everyone is not as enamored as I with a BLT. Enjoy your goodie.

I enjoy a BLT built the same way.
Soft crabs are a regional summer food in MD.
Not better, but good.

Our are all small tomatoes intended for salads. Our new kitten destroyed my first attempt at starting indoors, so the first of them are just turning red.

My wife and I go one level more - we add a fried egg, making it a BELT sandwich.

YES, I prefer spinach and mustard or sometimes not. Bradley or Cherokee Purple is our fav.

Tomatoes were really late this year. I got the first ripe on only two days ago. Lot's more on the plants that I can hardly wait for.
