Those are some really impressive rock formations. Love the scenery.
We were there for the buffalo roundup which I understand happens evert year. Some cowboys bring the herd in for checking health and numbers. Some times they drive hundreds in. Spectacular!!!
Interesting rock forms, JR. Nice images.
For those who looked and commented after I thanked the others I thank you also.
Very nice set! I didn't see those on my tour in 2009.
👍 Awesome rock formations! Gotta do a road trip!!!

Reminds me of our stop there in 72 on our way to Alaska. That area was a highlight of that trip! As soon as I saw the first lake shot I was back there! Thanks much for posting these.
For those I haven't thanked yet for looking and commenting I thank each of you now. All comments are appreciated.
The image of the cathedral spires was taken from the cathedral spires trail which is 1.6 miles out and back.

Really like the shots! Well done. Watching a tour bus go that tunnel is very interesting... Beautiful, and interesting park, plus it has the large buffalo herd.

Custer SP is definitely one of my favorite state parks that I've visited thus far.
