I would suspect you’re safe from “recall” by now😊. Thank you for your service👍

"Defend the constitution" What does this mean today?

Support a president that is tearing down every social progress made in the past fifty years?

If so, sorry, you are barking at the wrong tree.

Explain what he is taking down and what has the Opposition erected. Please

Why do some people turn every subject into a political statement?

Took that the first time 10 Nov 1959. Retired 30 Nov 79. USAF Medical. Only deadly fire I was on the wrong end of was in Washington D.C. during the MLK riots! I do NOT see in it that I (we) had or have the right to choose which POTUS to support.

For that to be a good oath, you need to have the right people in control - people that have the right motives and agendas. Even presidents can fall victim to misguided ideas (that comment isn't aimed at your present president, but there have been times in the past....).

Your oath is not to people. The country is more than them.

With all due respect my friend, the behavior/nature of SOME of our politicians has nothing to do with my pledge of absolute and unlimited allegiance to America. My pledge first given when I was 17 years old and enlisting in the USMC, January 1964, remains valid to this day. I am now 74. I have also given the very same pledge as a uniformed sheriff's deputy and also as a correctional officer.

We don't really need a revolution but only a reemergence of the American values that the Constitution has stood for since 1789. The present revolt we are seeing is AGAINST that Constution and America's values so long held sacred.
