True. But it happens they don’t bias everything and don’t distort as much (they did add a guy holding a gun to a Chop image). They usually include a leftie on their panels. And one of their moderators, Chris Wallace, is a leftie.

I still punish myself a few times a week to peek in at what the fake news channels are focused on.

Just peeked in at MSNBC and CNN. Took zero time for a Trump invective: both were full on.

In Canada we wear them a lot, but in the US you get all political & it’s not that, it a matter of life. I wish you all could think of that first instead of what you call your God Given Right to not wear one.
Good luck, we will keep our borders closed until you get it together.

Yup, there's a reason for the trend shown below:

That would be fine if the mask protected the wearer from catching the virus. But the purpose of the mask is to keep infected people, who may be asymptomatic, from infecting others.

It protects both parties. When an infected person sneezed the virus travels in the fine mist to the other person. The virus gains access to the other person system through that person's mucus membranes., Which are the mouth, throat, lungs, nose as well as eyes. They all have mucus membranes. That's why you cover them. Remember, when you breath you are inhaling the air around you. You are pulling in air and whatever else is in the air. Sort of like getting hay fever.

Wearing a mask (or not) isn't a political statement, it's an IQ test.

drumpf deserves everything that’s been thrown at him.

It’s always funny how people that don’t hear what fits their preconceived view of the world call it fake news.

Don’t fret. None of us wish to visit Canada.

I don’t know about your area, but we were never forbidden from going outside, and masks have never been expected except in those situations when physical distancing cannot happen. Recently, driving without an ‘essential reason’ is allowed. So, I have been outside regularly, sometimes working in our yard and sometimes wandering our neighborhood with my camera. If nothing else, I see things now that I would never see in a ‘normal’ time.

That’s been true of my experiences during this time. More photography walks to the local park.

Trust me. When my wife, who works with COVID 19 patients on her med/surg floor, deals with the patients, she has a hell of a lot more on than just a simple N95 mask. Don’t pretent that because you wear a mask that you are as protected as the doctors and nurses working on the front lines of this disease.

This shows why a mask helps to prevent spreading corvid virus.

You sure that was not a vaping shot?

So if everyone wears a mask, everyone is protecting the others, so everyone is protected.

Not necessarily true. A study done on the federal level showed that 42% of mask wearers wear them improperly, and many that wear them as such could essentially go mask free, for all the good it does someone. Another thing to remember. I have asked and observed many people with masks and how they use them. The majority of them will be lucky if they don’t infect themselves. I have a man I work with that is terrified of this virus. He wears loves everyday to work (useless), an N95 mask, and a plastic face shield. I asked him to describe to me how he protects himself with his mask after he gets home from work, and the steps he takes to prevent himself from becoming contaminated by his own mask. He didn’t have a clue. Zero. Nil. Nada. But like a good sheep, he wears it everyday. I just wonder, though, why so many who wear masks and are sanctimonious about it find the need to take them off and throw them down in parking lots. Don’t they care if the workers who have to clean up the parking lots might get infected by their actions? They sound mighty hypocritical to me.

I do.

My wife and I had to cancel our annual May trip to Pt Pelee SP - and my wife cancel our motel reservations back in April - when it became painfully evident that this would not end any time soon.

Not necessarily true. A study done on the federal... (show quote)
but there are many other studies that show virus infection would go down - and the economy go up - if mask wearing were made mandatory.

We try to leave the Democrats out as much as possible, and then you popped up. Thanks for playing, Davey. Do you fit the mindless class ( probably), the selfish class (no, I doubt that, or the self centered morons). I think that one may be the best for you.

Aww shucks, the new guy further enlightens us with his wisdom! The only playing you do is when you are alone. It must have really ruined your self esteem when your hand fell asleep. Poor baby!!
