In the 70's I had an AP press and went there concert. I had several scotch and waters before the concert. When I arrived there were no seats so they put two seats on the stage. I went to the bathroom and saw all these long hair thugs and was glad to get out of there alive. Back on the stage who should arrive to play, the thugs Shan Na Na. Maybe too much scotch.😃
Welcome, queencitysanty! I bet you were impressed with the choice of old songs . . . AP

Great photo that really captures Bowzer’s entertainment personality. Shoes appear to be Chuck Taylor Converse Allstars. I have them in many colors.

Thank You, for a fine response, Effate, and welcome! Bowser, was a great singer and wonderful performer. Your comments are good ones and most welcome . . . AP
Great shot, AP. I always enjoyed watching Sha Na Na way back when. They kept performing together for quite a while. You photographed numerous celebrities over the years.
I hope you’re doing well during this crisis. I’ve always enjoyed cooking but am doing even more now. Keeps me busy, well fed and smiling.
Buon Appetito,

I only saw them once, but made a great recording! Thank You, for your fine response . . . AP
Terrific shot. Great equipment. I hardly remember the group's music. The music to my ears is the written description: "Made with Hasselblad 500c film camera & 250mm f5.6 Carl Zeiss lens. Camera mounted with Matador 200 w/s strobe set at 200 w/s, Exp. 1/500 sec. at f5.6"
It was so uplifting to read this words.
I still have a very complete 'blad system that hasn't had a roll of film thru it in 15 years. Here comes that melancholy feeling.
Thanks for the trip back in time.

very nice capture
Very pleasant response, topcat. It's easy for me to see that decisive moment, a sports action photographer 15 years 1969-84. Singers, talkers, speakers, seem to be way slowed down from action sports. It makes your see the images a lot faster in the peak . . . AP
