Cherokee rose. Native of China (I think) but naturalized throughout the southern states. Can be invasive, but I love these little roses that bloom in spring. Canon 70-200 Please try the downloads for clarity.

Beautiful work Donna. I'm not sure why but I like the unopened bud the best. Maybe it's the anticipation of beauty to come.
