This happens all the time. The OP originally put it in General Photography because he thought it was important and wanted more views. Admin moved it the Chit Chat, and then people wonder why people are complaining it's in the wrong section.

I now understand why Rongnongno used to include screenprint "proof" of where a topic started out.
On the other hand...it's unlikely the problems of the world will be solved in either main photography discussion or chit-chat...(at least not today)

The frequent behavior that JohnSwanda spoke about is what is the most perplexing to me: a respondent makes a judgment or observation before reading the entire thread - even threads that are only a page or two long.
