Film, Nikon FTN, N8080 (X2) I keep for sentimental reasons. The FTN was my first real camera.
Digital: Nikon 5100, 5200, 5300. I love this series because they are lightweight but work great.
All my lenses fit and work. Life is great. I don't want anything heavier, just waiting to get the 200-500 lens.
Each digital camera has one dedicated lens on it. I'm too lazy to change lenses and expect the cameras to be ready to go.

Same here, only change lenses when necessary. Three DSLRs and a Coolpix “ready to go.”

I’ve consolidated down to one camera—Canon EOS R— and a nice array of lenses covering 24mm through 400mm. My other photo equipment includes a tripod, a monopod and the 1.4 and 2x extenders. This combination works for me nicely.

It's not the camera (although you need a high quality camera); it's the lenses that count. And I have a lot of those!!!! A good SLR and a variety of lenses; both zooms and single focal length are key to image quality.

Image Quality is not the be all of photography. Selection of subject and how that subject is presented matter, but neither is not what this thread is about

I have a Nikon D750 and a FujiFilm Xt2. I just sold a Nikon D850. I have an open order for a FujiFilm Xt4. Why? I have been struggling for the past two years, ever since I purchased the FujiFilm Xt2. It's been a struggle. I've been shooting Nikons ever since I bought my first Nikon product in 1965, a Nikormat. Not even the spellchecker knows what that is. I just love Nikons, but I have to do what I have to do. The D750 becomes a trophy on the mantel.

I don't think anyone will benefit from knowing WHAT I own, and WHY.

I have a bunch of Pentax's: from film to digital. I keep up with the latest digital so I have as many pixels as I can get. I actually still use the film ones on occasion but the digital is so much better. Used to use Kodachrome but that went out years ago; still have some Kodachrome rolls that I'd better use soon before that goes away too. They've been in the freezer for years but I think they're still OK.
