From an evolutionary standpoint, of what use are those wide horns? It would certainly make navigating in the brush and trees problematic, and theY point in the wrong direction for either defensive or offensive use. Just asking ....

They were bred for the horns to make a larger target for a rope, so it is not a natural result.
