Does anyone here subscribe to this magazine? If so, what do you think of it? Is it online only or is it a printed magazine also? I'd like a good magazine to read each month. Any recommendations?
Yes, I'm a lifetime subscriber, I find it a wonderful publication, I find myself going back and rereading many of the topics. I can't wait for the next issue.

I subscribed in April. Digital only but you can download a PDF which is printable if you want to use that much ink and paper. You can also put it on portable devices and some of the editions have on-line interactive versions. Four issues per year, one each of the 4 seasons and three bonus books on Light, Guide to the Outerbanks and AF use for wildlife also downloadable. All back issues are also downloadable, 4 for 2018, 2019 and the 2 for 2020. The latest "Spring 2020" also come in a mobile device version. Now to figure out how to get the other stuff on my NOOK e-reader tablet. I am sort of tempted to get a larger windows tablet since my wife pretty much has "our" laptop - she uses it to stream stuff on the TV in the living room. She and our special needs 28 year old spent 2 weeks watching every movies and animated show of Star Wars ever made - our oldest put his account with who ever it was that did the marathon on the laptop for them so he could keep working on another Master's Degree on his laptop.
$97 a year, a bit steep but I was after things I could use for myself and a photo class at the Senior Citizens' Center Photo Club (when the center reopens).
The site also has an assortment of tutorial videos (15 at this time) on various aspects of photographing wildlife and PP.
Then you regularly get e-mails with short articles or summaries of upcoming articles and updates on old articles. And of course e-mails trying to sell you something.

Jerry,
Your incredibly substantive and thoughtful review could only have been more helpful if it had provided a link to the publication you describe!
Is this it? Looks to be well worth the subscription price if it’s half as good as you describe!

I just signed in and very impressed with his written stuff both technical and style. Nat Geo, as some suggested, is fine if you just want look but you get zero details as to how they shot the photo. We know they have to be good to work for NATGEO, With The Journal, who knows, you might improve enough to work there. :)
RIGHTj,
Not on this forum!

I have The Journal of Wildlife Photography, first time, not sure if I will renew. It is good, but have not decided if it is worth $100.00.

Unfortunately National Geographic has drunk the koolade on the whole global warming hoax.
You probably believe COVID-19 is a hoax so they can implant the devices to control us with 5G.

Nature Photographer - An issue comes quarterly. I find it very educational on several levels, as well as stunning photos.
I agree, not many print magazines left and I really enjoy Nature Photographer.

Outdoor Photographer, it is currently only available in web form because of the pandemic.
OP only available digitally really annoys me. I’ve been a subscriber for years and emailed them asking why they went exclusively digital since I still get a number of other mags that didn’t see the need. I personally think it’s a cost saving move and nothing more. By the way, they did not respond to my email.
For more great pics and great useful advice join the Facebook group for this mag. Excellent group.

I can say I will not be renewing my subscription for OP.

I believe that it has been renamed to The Journal of Wildlife Photography Group.
Yes, I am a subscriber and have no intentions of dropping my subscription.
I've been on a photo shoot with Jared Lloyd. He is an excellent instructor and knows the in's and out's of wildlife photography. His knowledge of wildlife behavior is unmatched by any that I know of.
If I get a few "dynamite" images of wildlife each year, and I will, the subscription is well spent. The instruction in this "magazine" are at a detail that I have not seen in others.
In short, I can recommend the JWPG without reservation.
BTW, there is NO comparison between Nature Photography and Outdoor Photographer with this subscription.
Actually Smithsonian went PC first, I dropped my subscription but still have Nat Geo as e-mag only.
Now both seem to have settled down and the PC stuff doesn't seem to be as pushy while a lot of good articles once more.
