The green screen I ordered for my son arrived yesterday, and he's been going crazy with it. It's amazing what you can do with one of them. He's just experimenting, but he's made little videos with two of him in them - talking to himself. I'll try still photography eventually. For the low price of the fabric and a stand, it's worth the investment.

May have been around for years, but the ability to use with inexpensive vidie camera or smartphone is fairly new!

Not in this house. More toys to play with.

Which green screen kit did you get? Do you have a link?

If I had included the link, it would have been moved to "Links..."

There are Photoshop actions for automatically extracting still images from green screen shots.

Of course the main issue remains that the screen has to be evenly lit.

What a ridiculous and offensive reply. It’s the imagination that counts

even lighting is important, but it not as critical as it was a few years ago. Photoshop can do a lot with a unevenly lighted green screen, I've managed to do it. It also can do a good job of moving an object or person from one photograph to another background without using a green screen.

So I have seen but only more forgiving for video. Photoshop for still photog. is much the same.
