Crickey, another from Down Under
G'day, just wanting to say Hi to everyone and after reading many posts on UHH, this photo forum is a little ripper!
As for me, I took my first pics with a Kodak Brownie and in 1960, my first moon pics with a Prackita L waist level SLR. Now a retired press photographer that won't down, I take pics of anything, as what the eye can see can be photographed.
"Whhhhoooo... nellly!
Full Moon rising
Stars over old hospital ruins on Norfolk Island

Welcome DownUnder, Beautiful shots
Oh good now we need to step up our game, hahahahaha
My first camera was a Kodak Brownie also. What does that say about our age,
My boys saw it and asked "what is that?" hahahaha
Welcome again
Thanks guys! Photography is one medium that cements our love for the art. I might be 99 upside down, but nothing is sooo intriguing than photography. I still have my old Nikon F's and two Speed Graphics 4x5's. Now putting my darkroom back together. Ahhhh.. the smell of Hypo in the morning.....
Does anyone miss film?

Ouuuuuuuuu! That "Full Moon Rising" is sumtin else... I see $ signs on its surface... Protect it...........
Welcome!! Excellent images----we're eager to see more of your work!! You'll enjoy this forum---lots of talent here!
Welcome, and back about 1957 l started with a Kodak Box Brownie, graduated to a Yashika YK, then to a Praktika not the waist level one though and then through many Pentax, Fujica, Canon, Olympus, then to digital sticking with Olympus, SLR and compact.
Just admire your selection of intro photos, very good.
Oh Crickey - really nice shots - all three of them!
Welcome to the forum, DownUnder.
Faire dinkum on all the shots .
Crickey, thanks for the great welcome everyone! I didn't come here to get accolades. I just want to share my love for the art. Sorry if I'm taking up too much of your time.
BTW, anyone coming down this way for the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse on Nov. 14? While it's total in north Queensland just south of Cairns, I'm heading over to Norfolk Island as they will get nearly 99% and less cloud cover than on the mainland.
This is how close I can get with my telescope. If you were in a spacecraft you would be 50kms off the Moon's surface. The moon was 410,000kms away from Earth when I took this snap.
Lunar highlands. 80 kms above the Moon's surface.
Sunrise fisherman. Norfolk Island.
MG!! You are so good!!! The first picture (broncing horse)is beyond words really - it's that good!!! And the last one with the fisherman - fantastic!!!
Welcome from Colorado. Your photos are really really good! Thanks for sharing them and maybe one of these years I'll get "Down Under!". Cheers.
