Very early instar of a Black Spicebush Swallowtail Butterly. (Papilio troilus troilus) I spotted this on my daily dog walk here yesterday in North Georgia...Sorry about the spectral highlights...It was on a Sassafrass leaf...Very small, this was shot life-sized on a crop cam and it was cropped in post as well...
