Did you ever try CCleaner software? I use it at the end of everyday and it gets rid of all that stuff! That would save you an awful lot of headaches having to reload your operating system along with all the other software. It gets rid of all the leftover junk files, and it has an option for getting rid of all the obsolete items in your registry. It is a very popular piece of software and it really works. I have used it for years, and they have a free version or a full complete version for around $29.oo. Try it, you won't be sorry. If you are worried about a virus get a copy of ESET Internet Security; you can get really good deals on it at Amazon instead of paying full retail. I just bought a new one last month that protects 3 computers for 2 years for $45.00.

Thanks for the info, I will look into the software

Try the free PhotoScape X. I didn't like Workspace for my TG-5, but PhotoScape X is quick and easy using a 4-year old Dell with Windows 10.

Thank you, I will look into PhotoScape X

I am assuming that you have the latest version of OLY Workspace v 1.3.1. It works fine on my 15" SurfaceBook2 which is an I7 w/16gb ram. Also runs ok on my older 13" HP Envy laptop which is running an AMD ryzen 5 with 8gb ram. Check task manager, actually keep it open, select more details and monitor your RAM memory, CPU and other details to determine where the issue may be. If you click on the CPU header, for example, on task manager it will sort the usage by that category. Good luck. I use Workspace, as well as Corel Paint Shop Pro 2020, and ON-One 2020, and have no issues with RAW edits in any of them. Although Workspace does handle OLY RAW files maybe a tad better.............

Unfortunately the lack of an independent graphics card in combination with a 5 year old laptop is the source of the problem. If you add another 8gb of ram you might see a decent boost in performance.

Thank, you Linda. I did check your link and I do seem to have the system requirements. I have a Toshiba i5 series core w/8GB of ram and free space.

I have always heard that you should have 16GB of RAM to edit photographs. I do and have no problems with an old computer and OS system.

Sorry for the confusion, I should have said I would look at a new computer for PP.

I was wondering because it would be real hard to get a graphics card into a laptop.
