There's definitely a learning curve for riding this thing without training wheels.

Ouch! Brings back memories of good times teaching my children to ride.

I’m still being attacked on a regular basis while pedaling. It’s those sudden stops while the feet are still clipped in. I, on the other hand, am not nearly as cute!

Wow, what a fantastic "real moment in time" portrait you've captured here. The camera loves her!

Thanks Linda. Over the years she has become my favorite (and only) model. I have so many candid photos like this one that I'm now embarrassed to count them.

A wonderfully captured moment of life...superb portraiture of-the-moment!

when i was a kid, too many years ago, we were sledding and my sled hit a rocky dry spot (no snow, no ice, no nothing) and came to an abrupt halt. i went face-first over the front of the sled, scraping up my face. the next Sunday, in Sunday School, one of the teachers asked what happened to me. At 4 or 5 years old I answered, "You should see the other guy." Your photo brought back that memory!

Very nice shot so job well done. My oh my, does that bring back memories. It's a wonder that when people our age were kids that we survived. Most of my road rashes were on my knees and elbows. I still ride my bike today however I would not dare to do so without a helmet and palm-padded gloves. Stopping with my shoes still cleated in the pedals causes most of my "Oh poop!" now.
