Yes it will out do those other trucks. I had diesel Fords, Chevy and Dodges. The Ford was the worst by far.

At least it will last longer with less upkeep!

Had a Chevy Blazer in '76. Lived in Pittsburgh at the time, kind of a hilly place. I figured I could get around when it snowed.
Forget it!. Next time it snowed the roads were jammed with people who couldn't get up the hill. They were sideways, backwards, every which way. Couldn't get around them. The snow was the least of the problem.

But it worked fairly well. Held a lot of stuff (which of course encouraged me to collect more stuff).

Here in VA. ,we have "Sheet Ice" it snows and piles on the roads and then when the sun comes out the next day it melts. The next day it freezes again. The roads look really great. But if you try to drive you are taking your life in your hands.
When this happens we just don't travel.
Most things are closed then.

We had a Chevy Blazer in '76 and loved it. We could never understand why they dropped it.
We are glad it's back.
The new ones are made in Mexico.
The 2020 ones are exactly the same as the one 2019 that we have.

Charles

My Tundra will pass anything on the road except a gas station. In spite of this, I love my truck.

I never had a single problem with the Tundra. I had the 2wd, but in Az, if you go off road you really need the 4wd. You can tell I am very supportive of your new truck, and that I really liked mine. I could have used it today to pick up several big shrubs that I stuffed in the back of the SUV.
Have fun with yours!!!!

That's what I'm afraid of! We'll see.

This is my newest toy. It will become a blind, an overnight stop, a storage unit for camera gear, and an adventure companion (that sadly doesn't nicker). I've waited 4 years for this! It's a sweet ride!

Just sharing. Photo by sales person with my cell phone.

I expect to be buried in this truck.

I would think your friends will find a better use for it than to use it as a large coffin.
