Even if the 100,000 deaths are accurate it’s still below 1 percent of the population. Any reason to shut the Country down. The swine flu lasted 17 months, infected 61 million Americans, about 80,000 deaths not one thing shut down, not even the Mexican border where it originated. Took 7 months to declare it a national emergency. That was 2009/10.

I don't think that I have cited any fact at all my friend, I have only expressed those words as said by one of our Founding Fathers and you are of course free to disagree. We had a vaccine against the swine flu. Even with ‘shutting down’ the country - and traffic to neither Mexico nor Canada - we have exceeded 80K deaths in much less time.
