Glad to see so many new people joining the challenges. This is a great place to "chill," share ideas and see what your friends are up to.
Here's some more transportation ideas...

Welcome to the "Transportation" Challenge. Feel free to include images of your favorite ways to go from one place to another, or images of how you'd like to go from one place to another.
Just a couple reminders: please, keep it "family friendly," and while this falls under the "Photo Contests, Challenges, Periodicals," the only prize is knowing you contributed something that other members might enjoy. Also, unless someone specifically asks for advice on how to improve their image, please refrain from providing critique. There is another section on UHH for just that, but this is not that place. This is the place where we just kick back and have fun.
Hope you enjoy.
Tim
Welcome to the "Transportation" Challeng... (
show quote)
The T-6 formation with AeroShell has my daughter taking my picture from one plane showing me taking a picture of her from AeroShell 4. Ride was at KTVR in Louisiana across the river from Vicksburg.
Other shot is a WACO on floats at an AOPA Flyin at an evening supper event.
If you have to travel, in the air is the MOST fun!.... John

Thanks Studio263......This Challenge really got my "wheels wound up" and I've probably over done my share of posting "modes of transportation"! Appreciate your kind comment. Bob

This one is an old slide conversion. The "ride" was more than a simple pleasure ride. July Fourth celebration in Fairbanks Alaska.
Pg 7 - What a thrill that must have been! Great image, afsalvo!

Thanks Tim.....it was certainly something quite different for us. As mentioned, the men guiding us down the hill were a father/son team & the picture I caught was of the father. I was really amazed how he managed to maneuver! I've dug up a few more pictures that will also make this challenge.....including a train!
Can't wait to see it, Bob!

Pg 8 - Very, very cool image, Studio!
Here's a fitting "opening" for that image, Studio.
Anybody recognize this? Fill in the blanks
"It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the -------- ----."
