Vic, I did DDLs on both and I see no difference other than the details being displayed. It maybe you coputer screen or my screen doesn't display what yours does. These are excellent.

So there is no difference when downloading other than sharpness, Ed?

Use the sRGB colour space.

The difference is due to color space. Be sure you save in sRGB when posting online. (ah, Graham beat me to the punchline!)

Here's one article that will help:
https://digital-photography-school.com/adobe-rgb-versus-srgb-color-space/

(did you see my comparison above your reply to Graham?

I can't offer an explanation but just wanted to note that I also saw a clear difference: the downloads were much more vividly colored.

A note re size: the one I edited was about 2,000 pixels wide, which makes a nice size for many monitors. The larger the dimensions, the less sharp they look in the thumbnail, because they are compressed to a mere 600 px wide.

All captures are apparently sRGB until I post them here. I have of course sent them via email and cell phone and they are sRGB!

Gotcha, Linda...I think that's the answer. Only here on hedgehog when editing with Topaz DeNoise have i noticed this! You amaze me sometimes (even if you were in the Navy)
