Wow .., thru the scope ...love the moon shot ...in post editing .., I got another 20% more detail using my IpadPro programs .., if I used my MacBook Pro programs .., I estimate 30% more detail can be had ...bottom line ..great shot with a lot of time and effort ...

The moon is made of Swiss cheese after all.

Thanks "b top gun" for your comment... sorry for the late response... I have been busy studying and preparing for the Coronavirus for the last 2 months... been hiding out before they publicly said to stay home as much as possible... heck I was doing that before the Coronavirus but got stock up little by little before the hoarding frenzy started... glad that I did... I knew that it was coming and couldn't understand why the government was sitting lazy doing nothing... it could have been nipped in the bud if they got moving way back during the first week in January if not the first week in December...!!! Well take care, take plenty of vitamins, antioxidants, and any other supplement to boost you immune system... and plenty of rest which I find is the most difficult thing to do...!!! Take care...

Great work! Ten inch reflector is a nice size scope.

Thanks Nikonbob for your comment... yes a 10" Newtonian F5.7 is a good manageable size and relatively fast!
I have to use a polarizing filter to reduce the light when viewing directly by eye... What I like about a polarizer is that you can vary the brightness by adjusting the filter rotation... only need to do it about once a night as soon as it gets totally dark... It depends on what phase the Moon is in to adjust the filter for that phase.

Excellent shot.

Thanks angler for your comment... since I am on house arrest by the Covid-19 continuing threat, I am resorting to reviving some of my past posts... I have gained 8 pounds since being on house arrest and thought that I should do more than watching the news in horror, and eating myself into an oblivion...!!! So maybe now I can escape from the night mare a little... When I was a kid I would occasionally wake up from a nightmare... now days I wake up to a nightmare...!!! Well enough for now... stay healthy, and as happy as you can be under these trying times...

Thanks Dr.Nikon for your positive comment on my Moon shot... much appreciated... I haven't had my scope out in a year...!!! I hope to get it out this year if possible... I don't think that I can top my best moon shot to date... it took many nights and hundreds of shots to get that photo... but one can always hope...!!!
Thanks again...
