Some more pics of our restoration...the pics I've posted are not in chronological order, just some I picked for interest...
Good, and interesting, set.
Sweet airplane. I've been a fan for years.
A labour of love alright and worth all the effort.
Keep going and good luck.
Someone recently told me there are only 2 Corsairs in existence and only one is airworthy. That seemed unbelievable to me. What are the facts?
Oh, wow! This is my favorite WWII aircraft! And, the restoration is looking great. Thanks for sharing the project with us!ππ€π
The first airplane I ever worked on as a metalsmith at MCAS, Opa Locka, FL. 1953
thanks for posting.

According to Air & Space Magazine there are about 30 left with 10 to 15 still flyable.
Thanks... the 2 number seemed unreal to me. I was watching a video from the museum in Seattle yesterday and they had a fully restored one that probably would be flyable right there too.
