Apparently this shooting resulted from a little known Justice Department initiative known as Not So Fast But Totally Furious in which Bic Pens were run into nursing homes and assisted living centers in South Texas, including the Houston area in an attempt to locate dangerous amputees and octogenarians. Unfortunately the Justice Department lost track of some of these pens and one of them ended up in the hands of a one armed one legged schizophrenic who waved it at police in a threatening manner. Being threatened and unable to put distance between themselves and a one-legged man in a wheelchair, the police, fearing for their lives, shot the armed (with a Bic) and dangerous disabled man in the head, killing him.

This happens all the time! Give them a badge and a gun and look out. Luckly ther are only a few that are bad.
