We all have - CHOICES. and only you can make them.
Just because your choices do not agree with mine does not give you the right to force your choices on me. If you do not agree then refer to sentence 1 above

Most laws are passed in order to protect people. But these seem intent on controlling people. There is a vast difference.
And whilst you are exercising your right to die in hospital, please try to avoid infecting the medical staff caring for you.

My only comment is that if you choose to ignore the advice of medical professionals, then to be consistent, you (and your immediate family) should also choose not to go to the ER and expect those same professionals to care for you (and endanger themselves) if you contract the virus and become ill. Are all the people touting their individual rights willing to make that commitment? It won’t help those you may infect, but it’s the least you can do if you’re actually willing to walk what you talk.
You see, it is not just your decision or your choice - what you choose affects others. If you live in a society, then you accept some responsibility for others than just yourself. You may choose to drive drunk, but the person you kill is your responsibility as well.

Unlucky2 wrote "I am all for you getting the virus," (Direct Quote) How asinine is that? Typical Liberal.

This is the most idiotic thread I’ve seen on the hog.

Thank you! A nice, calm response. But, I'll bet if he gets the virus he will go to the hospital.

I live in a ruby red state. But even our Governor, deputy to Mike Pence, publicly apologized when he forgot his mask.
Well said but not sure if those that place money over lives would catch on.

It is that simple. Our county sheriff decided over the weekend that he had enough of the governor's executive order, which he says is unconstitutional and announced on facebook that he will not enforce the governor's orders and has ordered his deputies to stand down.

We don't have to wear masks, and we aren't having a problem other than the governor's orders.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it a little bizarre that a mere sheriff seems to have the right or authority to override a governor?
If so, why bother with a governor?
Seems to mean that we can all cherry pick, and choose whichever laws we do or don't want to obey.
Oh wait, that possibly explains the current mess we have when so many supposedly less sophisticated countries are doing so much better than we are.
"I want to drive 100 mph on city streets MY CHOICE. You don't want to be hit by me then stay home where it is safe Your Choice. The rights of the individual do not out way [sic] the rights of the group..."
Perhaps, but CHOICE and RIGHTS are two completely different things! Anyone's choice can arbitrarily outweigh someone else's rights. Happens every day; it's called "crime". Prisons are stocked with such choosers. So are hospitals and graveyards.
