Nice shot. In Virginia where I grew up it is 'pee-on-ee'. Here in East Tennessee it is 'pee'-o-nee'. I will stick with 'pee-on-ee'.

In our house it’s called “The National Flower of China.”...love it very much....it took ours 3 years to start blooming, I am wanting to get every color, so far we have pink, both light and dark....

Thanks. I have 3 different colors and this is the only one that is showy

Thanks for your kind comments. Yep, I wanted it just subtle enough not to look like van Gogh or Matise with paint flying everywhere....
