Great set of pictures. Thanks. But, I also wonder what equipment, exposure was used to get them? Stacking?

Last week had the opportunity to go photograph the Milky Way with 3 other photographers. We practiced social distancing driving own vehicles, own sleeping arrangements (mine in back of my SUV) and maintaining 6 feet apart. Photographed on open cattle range near Rachel, NV, famous for it's Alien Inn - unfortunately closed due to COVAID-19. Late night/early morning of shooting since Milky Way did not come up until 1:30 AM.

Very nice! Glad you got out under the stars.

Beautifully done! If things calm down this year, I have a trip planned to Yellowstone and Banif in September. We hope we can go. May I ask what your settings were and lens etc.?If I could get just a little of what you achieved I would be a happy lady. Much to aspire to!!

Fabulous. Great shots of the Milky Way. Well worth the effort. With all due respect, I do not like your signature watermark. It detracts from these beautiful night sky images, in my opinion.

Opinion noted. Unfortunately, in this day and age where people think they can take whatever they want it has become necessary to put watermark on images going into a public forum. I've had images "stolen" for person use, not commercial, before when I didn't watermark them. "But it was just so beautiful, I wanted to print it and fame it for my home office." Guess they didn't want to pay for a good quality image. Perhaps if I reduced the size might help. Also, the white watermark against the black does make it stand out more. Anyway, I agree that images are better without watermark and I appreciate your comment.

Very nice shots - especially the last! Is that a single shot or quick stack? What equipment did you use and what settings? Any aliens while you were there? :)
Thanks for sharing!
Jon

Sorry no aliens or UFOs. All photos were single shot using Nikon D750 with Tamron 15-30mm lens, F2.8, at 20 sec.@2500 ISO on tripod obviously. Some PP done afterwards. Thanks for asking.

Paul, Nikon D750 with Tamron 15-30mm lens, F2.8, 20 sec, at 2500 ISO on tripod of course. So PP afterwards. No stacking involved.
