Still waiting on mine too. I guess those of us on SS have to wait longer.
I'm on SS and got my payment deposited in the bank on April 15.
My father (95) still hasn't received his yet though.

How are you doing with getting your stymlus payment we are still waiting we are on SS and it is our only income so no income tax but I understand we should get it too ( when )
It depends on how you get paid by social security. If direct deposit, check your bank account and see it it's there. If by mail, it will get there sometime, the way all things that are mailed get there. You can check on-line
https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments. And it's stimUlus.

Why should we on SS expect/suppose to get stymlus?
Isn't it more preferable for those who have lost their jobs and fanily members?
If you get it, you don’t have to keep it. There are plenty of ways to get it into the hands of those who need it.
Interesting how they gauged the stimulus program. Give it to all the minorities and tax filers but leave out the seniors who can use it the most. Same with any other program.... forget those who got you to where you are.

Based on income. Those on Social Security get it also.
I’ve been on ss for 14 years. Wife has been on ss for a couple years now. We got a direct deposit last week.
I receive SS, my wife does not yet. Neither income exceeds non-filing limits. Don't know whether we'll get one, two or no check. We joint-filed anyway, as per IRS directions. Still waiting to see if filing is accepted.

Both the spousal unit and I got the stimulus payment ... we were kind of surprised that she got it, she does not receive SS only her payment from her government retirement ... The stimulus amount is tied to adjusted taxable income on your ‘18 and/or ‘19 1040 regardless of income source. In the absence of returns or your auto deposit information adds time or diligence on the potential recipient’s part.

They are not leaving out people who need it. They are getting it out first to those who they can get it to the fastest.

I think it all comes down to whether your receive any payments from the government directly to your bank account. I always get my tax refunds by direct deposit and I got my stimulus check a couple of weeks ago. If not it's going to take them longer to figure out where to send your paper check or to get a bank account from you. This involves a LOT of people so you'll have to be patient--we have systematically downsized most federal agencies so they don't have the manpower to do this stuff manually in a very timely manner.
There is a way to kick start this process. I don't remember how it works but our US Representative had it on her website so I'd start there.
Received a check for myself and my deceased wife. Right on the check in the pay to the order of it said deceased. They definitely didn’t get the info from SS as those folks know she’s gone. Now I have her part to return. Anyone know how to do that? IRS is closed and website is no help.
Hold on to it for a bit. I read that they were considering not requiring surviving spouses or children to return those checks. That was not official at the time I read it but it was a quote from someone in the government. I suspect there will be more information coming after they make a policy decision.
This would be ironic because I prosecuted a number of people who didn't return their spouses/parents social security checks (although usually they neglected to do so for years).
