Trump instructs U.S. Navy to destroy Iranian gunboats 'if they harass our ships at sea'

Avoiding "confrontation" with tin horns like the Iranians only guarantees that they'll get bolder. Better to slap them down now.
My son in law in the Army is on a LCM. About six years ago they were working out of Kuwait in the straits of Hormuz. They put him on the 50 cal when these little bastards buzzed their ship at about thirty yards before turning off. Obama was his CIC. Needless to say they were told to stand down unless fired upon.

U.S. Navy ships have the right according to international sea law, to operate without harassment in international waters. The Iranians, and everyone else who has a navy, knows this.
Ships that come within a few yards create a shipping hazard, and potential loss of life if collisions happen.
Even without Presidential advisory, ship captains are the final authority as to reacting to any danger his/her ship must navigate.

Rules of engagement were different under Obama.

How would you know? Ever been in that situation? Hmm?

Just in case you don't know..Iranian gun boats actually carry guns. Those things can actually hurt some one Merely sailing too close to a American war ship is an act of war. The American vessel has the right, according to international "rules of the sea" to defend itself. The captain of that vessel does not need permission. Those Iranians in those boats are lucky to be alive. That captain is a very patient man/woman. I would have fired a warning shot. I am not that patient, I have a 12 gauge, if you break into my house I won't even ask you to"Drop that Gun". Or for that matter if you are not even armed, you are dead.

Of course, he did. Donny Bag-A-Donuts needs a fighting war to distract from the fact that Americans are dying at an alarming rate because he thought it as more important to play golf and hold rallies than to address COVID19.
The man is a miscreant of the first order and giving him another four years only the retarded right would think is a good idea.
It may seem like our president needs a fighting war to you, but fact is, he is merely swatting flies at all the silly little antics by the Iranian regime in their poke and hope effort to convince our government that if we don't ease up on our sanctions there will be dire consequences. More to the point, just how well versed are you on the intrinsic intentions of our forefathers as they laid out the cornerstones for a lasting constitution that would survive the tests of time? By the way, if you ever hope to ever garner any respect here then I would suggest you quit the third grader antics. Kracken seems to be the only one backing you but no surprise there.

The right must have surely realized that when trump was elected that they couldn't keep him, it's like
having a rabid dog for a pet, you know that sooner or later you are going to have to say goodbye to him.
It's a miracle he lasted this long.
You sure seem to be having a lot of bad hair days lately over what the majority of voters in the USA stand for. Now before you go ballistic, think about all the third grade rants you post. What do you think you stand to gain? Not likely our founding fathers would have given much credence to your ideologies. Please think about that for a moment. You would do better if you looked into anger management classes rather than posting your silly rants here. I get it that have lots of pent up frustrations for whatever reasons but there are better venues to address those issues.

I see you are trying to emulate, LWW and Angmo. If I were you, I'd find another role model.[/
You open the door to personal insults when you personally insult our president if you can’t take it don’t try to dish it out.
We must have another war to detract from the virus and the Prez's bumbling. People love to hear about war real or not... as in the play/movie 1984. We have new shiny A-Bombs and as Trump said ... we have them why not use them.

Little Frankie, I see you still spout the same name calling, childish hatred and lies. Donny bag a donuts? Still in pre-school with no hope of moving on due to lack of mental capabilities. Pitiful is a good descriptive phrase for you.
