There is a tradition at the end of the raising of the last beam, at a barn raising. Those who worked at the project sign the timbers, before the siding is added. Their names are forever hidden behind that siding, but the signatures are a testament to their participation in the project. These are but a few of those signatures. These pictures are a way of thanking those who helped us (at no cost) in the building of our barn. We are forever greatful.

Thanks. They are not (technically) good photos, they serve as a reminder of help they gave us. The are SOOC__no need to "process" any of them

I guess that bench(?) is somewhere around Cape Town? And I had to look up durian; for other curious hoggers:

Yep, and here's the other half of that sign. Durian has to be the stinkiest fruit in the world.

The first two photos are part of the Berlin Wall. This is located in Fulton, Mo. The next two I found amusing.
