Seen round barn in person but not in a long while. Very nice.
Kind of looks like a Yurt on steroids.

Unusual barn, excellent shot John.
Head for the barn, they'll never corner us there.

John, easy to see why it is your favorite and a DDL shows great details.

great download and a beautiful barn, john!
Very nice and rare barn. Seeing the inside would likely be far more interesting than the outside. If he is a friend, see if he will allow you to photo the inside. The timber layout and construction of the roof should be very interesting. Likely pretty dark in there with windows so few and small, so may need some powerful lighting to photograph. Sounds like a great challenge to me, but Oh the reward.
I bet no witches or evil spirits live in this round barn. Reminds me of a round church in Charleston, SC. Theory for building a round church was that the devil and evil spirits lived in corners.

Nice shot. Round barns are endlessly fascinating.
They are to me, too. Thanks for taking a look.
No. It’s just down the road from where I live in Madison County, Indiana.
Thanks for looking.

Great shot - they would have had fun tiling that roof methinks.
Thanks, John. A friend told me the roofer lashed himself to a rope tied around the cupola. I’ve done a lot of roofing in the past, but I wouldn’t have tackled that one, for sure.
