Can you with your labyrinthian thinking apply that logic to Trump's performance in this coronavirus crisis?

Trump IS finally doing most of the right things -- now that he is actually listening to his science advisors and not the rumbling in his gut -- and he finally agreed to keep protective measures in place for an additional 5 weeks.

BUT he delayed the response by many weeks.

So, "That HE backed off doesn't hide the initial treachery, nor does it hide your blind support."
Can you with your labyrinthian thinking apply that... (show quote)

Trump cultist use misinformation to hide their saviors incompetence.

Reports of this conduct will be evaluated and may be further investigated for administrative action. Prescribing any kind of prescription must also be associated with medical documentation showing proof of the medical necessity and medical condition for which the patient is being treated. Again, these are drugs that have not been proven scientifically or medically to treat COVID-19.Michigan pharmacists may see an increased volume of prescriptions for hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine and should take special care to evaluate the prescriptions’ legitimacy. Pursuant to Michigan Administrative Code, R 338.490(2), a pharmacist shall not fill a prescription if the pharmacist believes the prescription will be used for other than legitimate medical purposes or if the prescription could cause harm to a patient. It is also important to be mindful that licensed health professionals are required to report inappropriate prescribing practices. LARA appreciates all licensed health professionals for their service and cooperation in assuring compliance in acting responsibly while continuing to provide the best possible care for Michigan’s citizens during this unprecedented and very challenging time.To stay up to date on the latest information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic please go to www.michigan.gov/Coronavirus and the CDC site at www cdc.

That letter seems pretty straight forward to me. But it is easy to see how Trumpeters could twist the content to spin a story of the governor preventing doctors from saving lives.

Letters: Get the facts right on coronavirus drug treatments

Elementary opinion misrepresents issue

Re: Kathy Hoekstra's March 26 guest Detroit News opinion, “Michigan’s doctors fight coronavirus, and governor's office”: This piece reflects a very elementary understanding of the issues related to the prescribing of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin and a mis-representation of the intent and content of the letter written to prescribers by Michigan's Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.

I am a family physician in Metro Detroit. My views do not necessarily reflect those of the health system to which I am employed. I do appreciate that this article was labeled as “opinion.” Given the nature of its content, however, it should be more thoroughly vetted by staff with appropriate medical and public health experience. It would have better served physicians, pharmacists and patients to have passed on this article.

So you agree, the governor should STHO and let doctors do the doctoring as they best know how.

Thanks.

No where in any tests did they show it is 100% effective.

In fact many studies have shown no beneficial effect.

You claim that chloroquine is 100 % effective.

Back up you claims.

"The study, published in the Journal of Zhejiang University (Chinese), found that the median time from hospitalization to conversion to virus-negative status was four days in the HCQ group, “comparable to” the two days observed in the control group.

After one week of treatment, 13 patients (86.7%) had turned negative in a throat swab test, while 14 (93.3%) in the control group could say that.

"Again, no significant difference.""
