I'm new to the site so forgive me for "overloading" my first post. When traveling, capturing the "vastness" of the landscape is a challenge. I deliberately try to incorporate something in the foreground, in the middle and beyond. I want to draw the viewer into the depths (of field) as nature doesn't always provide strong or obvious perspective lines to follow. Here are a couple of my favs:

Many good photos here but some information on equipment and settings would be informative. Many appear to have been taken with wide angle perspective which lends its self to "deep" sharpness.

I recognzie the Dog Walker from New Orleans, this one taken in 2010! 10 years of that gig would make me nuts.

Bourbon St..YES....Venice, looks like it was shot these times. They show DOF, Sir

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathedral_Basilica_of_Saint_Louis_(St._Louis) A couple from Missouri and one from Tennessee. If you have been in St. Louis and have never been to the Cathedral it's worth the trip.
