I didn't see hand crank telephones, classic comic books or $ .25 a gallon gas. Hand push lawn mowers, 5cent candy bars, butch wax didn't come till later here. I would tell you a lot more but there are so few now to remember them.
Let's not forget P.F. Flyer shoes and Brylcream hair tonic.

Yes to all. What a bunch of old farts on UHH. Including me. I remember the garbage man walking to the back of the house, getting the trash can, taking it to the street to empty and returning it to the back of the house. The Saturday morning show with Andy Devine and Froggy.

Groggy the Gremlin. We all hated him but some liked him.

"They love to get their fingers in your hair", as I recall.
How funny I sometimes can't recall what I had for breakfast but am able to recall things like Les Paul and Mary Ford, Peggy Lee, and some specific dates in history. Of course birthdays for grandkids, nieces and nephews are a challenge.

Are you talking about Froggy on the Andy Devine show where sometimes Andy Devine would say, "Plunk your magic twanger Froggy?

I thought so. That was a great show for kids.

Us country folks will remember when we got electricity from the REA. Before that Mom used a flat iron that she heated on the kitchen stove, we had a refridgerator that ran on propane, used coal oil (kerosene) lamps for light and we had a big radio/record player the was powered by a 6 volt car battery that was recharged by a windmill,(west Texas) man I think I am getting old. And many more when I start thinking. Butter churn, home made ice cream, Mom killing snakes in the back yard with a 22 rifle that was kept loaded behind the front door that was never locked. Time to quit remembering and get on with my day. The GOOD OLD DAYS, nope today is the good old day. Fair winds and following seas..................
Remember them all. My parents had the wood telephone and we were on a party line.
