Social distancing has provided lots of time to seek out photo ops. My favorite subject is wild horses but Sandhill Cranes feeding at the farm I grew up on are fun too. My parents homesteaded in the Columbia Basin when I was 13. Cranes were seldom seen up there. Now, it's a major stopover for migrating cranes. Horses on the Yakama Reservation continue to be a challenge . . . almost all of photos are of them running . . . away from me!! One thing I've learned is that stallions act much the same as buck deer. They always try to keep something . . . a tree, a branch or something in front of their faces.
