Presented as a joke? Or a sad commentary on today's society? Or both? We recently had a young man apparently commit suicide on the railroad tracks in our fire district and there is at least one video of the event. I understand that it's being passed around the local high school and I have a copy of it...someone took the video and nobody...NOBODY got him off the tracks! By the voices there are at least three people present. The Sheriffs Dept. is looking into it but there's no law being broken is there? And this young man was related to one of our firemen! This is the kind of thing that eventually makes first responders go ape crap crazy! You simply get to the point where you can't stand it anymore...it makes you want to really hurt someone!

I had always thought that the ides were the 15th of the month. Turns out that's only true for March, May, July, or October. On the other months it's the 13th.
