Found this in the driveway. Brought it in so I could control the lighting, background, etc. Do not touch, it stings!
Outstanding shot. Have seen the likes of this before, but don't know what kind it is.
That's an IO moth cat, moth named for the line and black spot on the hind wings. And, yess -- Don't touch (but not as bad ad the puss moth cat!). Held one as a kid, then got poked by a spine -- hurt, but much less than a bee sting.
Don’t think I have ever seen either. Could you tell us where you live?
