Norway has some unique architecture and all built of wood. Beautiful composition and photo, greymule.

A question if I may. What do we do now? Do we comment on your photo within greymule's post where HIS photo is on display? Just asking for a friend?

Dennis

Actually, no, Dennis. I just wanted to share with Rick an image I made of a similar-but-different Stave Church I found while driving around Norway. Other HOGs do this as well ... not like I created the situation.

No but it does place the viewer in an awkward position as to which post, yours with the newer photo or the OP who originally started the post to display HIS photograph. I am sure there is a rule on UHH stating basically don't steal another person's post. It is perfectly acceptable to display your photograph but why not start your own post to do so. That way all of the attention is on your photograph and it is not stealing attention from the OP.

You are correct in that sometimes posters invite others to submit photographs they have along the same line/idea as their post. But those other posters have been invited.

I am not trying to put you down and certainly mean no disrespect. But I was not lying when I asked which photograph do I make a comment when we now have essentially two OP's in the same post.

Dennis

Oh my! Beautiful photo. My first reaction. Second reaction, what does the inside look like?

Two degrees CCW?
After looking at the verticals of the tombstones on the left, the walls on the right, and the windows on the first floor (center of the photo), and considering the up hill shoot, I think that only a tilt shift lens would correct what others are seeing as a non level photo. But, there are many reasons NOT to own one.

I think your photo is great. If it was mine, it would be a 16 x 24, hanging on my wall.
