Thank you for allowing us to work on your image. I enjoyed it very much. I included a screenshot of my Photoshop screen to show how the layers and textures were applied.

This is a beautiful result. Thanks for the screen shot.

You perhaps are the only one of us that saw the duck. I missed it myself and that is part of the reason I posted the image. Thanks for looking. You can truly see.

How kind of you to say so! Thank you!

WOW! I looked and looked and looked and didn’t see the duck. So.... I walked away for a bit, had a glass of wine, returned and the DIF jumped out at me!

I was not even wearing my day drinking goggles, honest!

I am a linear thinker and need help learning to see. I lightly processed the daffodil snapshot in the spring with limited experience and e mailed it to my artist friend. A question came right back to which I replied, No, however she did help me see.

I would love to have some of you process this image in an artistic way, what ever that might be, since the image is not perfect as is. Then, as I determine from the results if you look, or if you see, I will expose the question sent to me with a brief explanation for this request.

Well, just a little pareidolia on my part. After just seeing a yellow flower, the very next thing I saw in the image was a hummingbird drinking from a flower. This may stem from my wife always feeding and playing with hummingbirds around the feeder, but who knows. After getting past that, I next noticed the water droplets on the flower so by removing the color only shape, shades and texture were left, making the droplets more pronounced.

hi Whitewater, thank you for letting us play with your image. Give up on perfection - figure out what you like about it and figure out how to emphasize that!! Here is my play much like the others.

edit - and I wish I had seen the duck - once seen, seen forever! sigh... I am a looker not a seer..

Now that is creativity and unique in design! I also had a feeling that the flower might be morphed into a bird but never tried.
Very nice black and white also. Thank you for sharing in the project. The results have really made my day. There are so many generous contributors on this site.

This is also very special and a welcome addition. I think you have nailed my problem down. When I try some of things I see others doing I usually just delete Them because they don't improve the picture that much. Then along comes all of you with no vested concern for the original and all these great ideas appear.
Thank you for helping me see.
