Great job. Color, subject matter, composition.
Love Canyonlands. I've never been there in winter though.

If it's a trickster how do you know if it's really a crow, or a raven?

Once you learn to look (and listen), you know immediately. Crows are always just crows, and apart from being black, crows are no more like ravens than Canons are like Nikons. Determining which ravens are simply ravens and which ravens are tricksters is a little..... trickier. One primary characteristic of your everyday, normal, regular raven is that they prefer Cheetos. Another telling characteristic is that if a particular raven goes, 'caw! caw!' that's a sure sign its just a raven. Trickster ravens never, ever go 'caw! caw!' Instead, they go
'caw..... caw..... awwwk....... gurgle..... caw!' and prefer Doritos.
I always enjoy your wonderful photos. These are exceptional.

Awesome. Always love your photos.
When the first photo appeared on my monitor, I said, "Oh WOW!" These are stunning. The fog, red rock and fog make a wonderful composition.
