Initially I set up a beetle I found(studio work) and shot several series. When I brought into LR I found an alien life form..........

Not strange at all.
You may find mites and pseudoscorpions on many insects.
Two reasons.
Some are hitching a ride. Look for red mites on Daddy long leg joints. That is called phoresy. No harm to host.
The other is as a parasite. Remember a poem, little fleas have little fleas, who have littler fleas .....?
That is never so true than with beetles.
The large, black bess beetle found in logs are a sure bet. Most large millipedes, most larger ground beetles, the black ones to numerous to blindly name. Even dragonflies.
See Pysanka Artist 15 Dec. post of a marsh fly.
As the song goes, you ain't seen nothing yet.
Suggested reading. Look on line for Howard Evans' 'Life on a Little Known Planet'. Shouldn't be but about $10 to your door.

Looks like it would be a very colorful beetle too.

Absolutely amazing! Both the mite and the color pattern of the beetle are 5-star quality.
