My first camera about 55 yrs ago was a Zenith "E" how technology in cameras has moved on since then. Having been used to using a normal digital camera for the past however many yrs I have just moved on & bought a Panasonic Lumix FZ48. http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_GB/Products/LUMIX+Digital+Cameras/Superzoom+Cameras/DMC-FZ48/Overview/7902620/index.html

The Lumix appears at the mo' to cover everything that I need in a camera and some. I want to take a lot more macro photo's & generally be more original in my photo's.

The attached pic was taken in my garden using my digital camera not my Lumix, i'm still getting used to it.

Well that's my introduction, bored yet!?

Thanks ggiaphotos. My pond hatches 2 or 3 of these each yr. I was about 3 inches away from it when I took the pic. A right poser.

Hello Haveago, welcome to the hog. It doesnt matter what camera you use, as long as you are satisfied it and the results you are getting. So, keep shooting. The more you do, the more you will find out how easy it will get.
