Another Bond Girl, died earlier this year too. British Actress, Tania Mallet. Goldfinger. She was 77. Known to be a very thoughtful woman in the UK. Sean Connery is said to the best ever Bond Man. He played many great roles outside of the 007 movies. He and Actor Michael Caine, are best of friends. RIP 007 Bond Girls. I saw most of the 007 Bond movies starting with Goldfinger. If you want to know additional info on these 007 Bond Girls. Google their names. Claudine Auger and Tania Mallet.
Thanks for the post. My wife is still in love with "007", and she's told me many times that if he or Tom Selleck ever showed up at the front door, I'd be toast.
Your mention of Michael Caine also reminds me of a film he did with Sean Connery in the 70's, and directed by John Huston. "The Man Who Would Be King" is at the top of my favorite movie list. With supporting performances by Saeed Jaffrey and Christopher Plummer, it's a great piece of cinema.
Sean Connery was also magnificent in "The Wind and The Lion", brogue and all.
I saw the trailer for the next James Bond film, and it looks like there is a Bond "girl" who is also a double O agent.

I recall Sean Connery, getting a Best Supporting Actor Oscar, for the movie Untouchables. Also starring Kevin Costner.

Her name is LaShana Lynch. A British Citizen Black Actress. Actress Haille Berry, was a Black American Citizen 007 Bond Girl. Bond movies, believe it or not, are now 55 years old. Bond Girls are not permanent throughout the movie series. We all know that. But, it's an honor to be one.

Yes! My bride and I have watched and enjoyed "The Man Who Would Be King" many times. We think it was Michael Caine's finest performance.

Now a famous quote, typical of a person “turns up to a gunfight with a knife”
Thanks for that. People keep on dying, don't they. I've seen all of the Bond films many times.

My wife has never cared for the Bond movies but she did tell me once (shortly after we married) that she would not object if Richard Gere parked his shoes under her bed.

What's bizarre, is that each of those Bond Girls died in sequence of the movie's releases. Goldfinger and Thunderball. And the first died at 77, the other age 78. And the same year. 2019.
political correctness will bit you in the a** every time
