BnH had the Canon 5D mk4 on sale for about 30% off. My wife bought one because her pocket camera is acting up. Prior to this when we would go out for a day of shooting she would borrow one of my 1D bodies and we would share lenses. Now she has made a claim to my 70-200 2.8 and my 24-70 2.8. grrr
The upside is now I have an excuse, rather a reason, to buy new lenses for myself. And maybe even justify buying the 1Dx mk3 when it is released.

You either need to get her OK first or on the sly fix up the couch or the dog house to be comfortable for you after you buy that gear.

I think so. A few minutes ago she saw me on the BnH website looking at lenses. She exclaimed "A new lens for my camera!" Oh boy! If I get her the 24-105 it should give her a fix for a while and get me one of my lenses back from her.

Where do people get all the $$$$ for New expensive Cameras, Lens, and other Photography equipment. I am retired and have a Pension and S S., I cannot afford the G.A.S., I must remember K.I.S.S.= Keep it Simple Silly. ( some say "Stupid".)

Remember, Christmas is near. Time to get that order in to B&H for her. You might also consider leaving your browser open to the page featuring whatever lens you want in case she is wondering about a nice gift for you.
