Hi All I am at it again, a doodle, I call ("a dying sunflower"). Let us see how this flag flies and who salutes it. Thanks for looking and please enjoy, If you can. Thanks All RBorud
I wasn't going to comment because my usual train of thought is that a live, beautiful flower would have been a better subject. Where dead plants are concerned I can see how natural skeletal structures in their naked form have an aesthetic that appeals to some, but in the case of blossoms, IMO it's a case of what's gone is gone. However, due to some totally out of character musings I was able for a fleeting instant to see beyond that and gain some insight into what your intention and perception was. From that perspective I can appreciate that your post processing is imaginative and purpose-oriented.

It frightens me--not necessarily a bad thing. The colors are ones of decay, the background looks unhealthy, and shriveling is, well, shriveling. Powerful image.
An intriguing shot, I like it
If I had any wall space left, I would offer to buy that, and print it as large as I could. I'm paraphrasing someone but 'I don't know what art is but I know what I like'. I like this.
Very impressive. Looks like a nightmare from a badly hungover Busby Berkeley. :)
