Nicely done set. I especially like #3 with the reflection in the water.

Very nice images Kathy.
Love the reflection in #3.
How far away were you ?
Pretty close, maybe 15-20 feet? Maybe a bit closer?

Killdeers are always fun, especially when they have chicks. Nice stuff! Are the whites a bit blown. Running close to 255. Seems like they can be adjusted.
Yes, Nalu, I have seen them with chicks, heard them calling to each other. Chicks are well trained to stay.
Whites were a problem in the sunset ones particularly. I haven't figured out how to keep the effects of the sunset without having the whites blown yet. Some "golden hour" photos look bizarre imho. Still learning.

Very nice images of a bird I have always liked a lot. They have such a nice call. They used to inhabit our cattle pond in the cow pasture when I was growing up. Nice to see your beautiful images.
Thanks for your nice comments and for sharing your memories, Hereford.

Thanks, phv. I especially like the red eye rings. It's something I only see in photos.
