I love lochs and visited Loch Shiel a couple years ago. Are you aware that it was used in several "Harry Potter" movie scenes?

I am Sue, the Loch and the The Glenfinnan Viaduct behind the Loch Shiel are always awash with Harry Potter fans, along with may parts of Scotland that are used in film and TC+V series.

Sure, Geoff ... that one's quite the Vista - with the viaduct all the way across, in the valley ... love it!

Just 3 of Scotland's estimated three and a half thousand Lochs;

1- Loch Duich, from the top of The Mam Ratagan Pass, the most spectacular route to The Isle of Skye via the The Original Glenelg-Skye Ferry.

2- Loch Tummel, from the Queens View.

3- Loch Shiel, which spreads seaward from The Glenfinnan Monument and the Glenfinnan Viaduct

Geoff, fantastic views as usual.
