Not So Lazy Leopard

Although he looks lazy, this young male is actually resting after the very strenuous task of dragging his kill up a tree for safe-keeping. Though exhausted, he still keeps a close eye out for other predators that may wish to steal his catch.

That's a great looking photo. It's amazing how strong they are. To be able to climb up a tree with an entire carcass in their mouth. To protect it from other predators, like lions and hyenas. He's saying. I need a break.

This is a great photo, and another wonderful example of less is more. Not being the biggest fan of black & white when I see the quality of this photo it is amazing.

Mesmerizing! I am transfixed by his eyes. B&W is perfect as there is nothing to distract my vision, just as nothing is going to distract him.
