Annual Birdlife Australia Photograpy Awards - Results

The many bird photographers out there may be interested in the recently announced results of the 2019 awards. The competition attracted more than 4,000 entries this year.
At the risk of sounding immodest, I was both excited and humbled to have two images shortlisted in this years Special Category: 'Honeyeaters'. The first is a tiny Eastern Spinebill and the second is a Lewin's Honeyeater.
My most sincere congratulations go to the overall winners.

One of the finest collections of bird photographs I have ever seen. It makes me want to go back to Australia, as if I needed a reason.

Outstanding images, Warren, and certainly worthy of recognition in this exceptional collection. Thank you to the link, all worthy submissions. I found the "Human Impact" division very difficult. What we humans do without regard to nature and that impacts our world is frightening and sickening.
