Photoshop Menu and Layers print are too small on my Eizo monitor

I have the Eizo CX271 monitor. It seems to be a wonderful monitor for photography images, with the following exception. I use Photoshop CC, Camera Raw, and Lightroom. With my Windows 10 computer monitor resolution set to 2560 x 1440 to get full picture quality and size on my CX271, I'm finding it impossible to make the print for dropdown menus and layer tool menus large enough for really comfortable viewing. For Camera Raw, the menus and adjustment slider labels are even smaller. I've tried all sorts of settings within Windows 10 and Photoshop Preferences>Interface and nothing really solves my problem. Lightroom is not a problem at all. In LR I can make the menu print and slider labels really big. When I set my computer resolution to 1920 x 1080 the Photoshop and Camera Raw print size problems are all resolved, but that seems to waste the capabilities (really sharp images) of the expensive monitor. A while back Adobe told me they hadn't felt the need to fully fix the 2560 x 1440 issue.

I don't think my problem is specific to monitor brand. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue with there monitor, regardless of brand, set to 2560 x 1440? Did you find a "fix"?

Thank you DWU2.
Actually that helped, as it rebooted my brain's memory. I've tried one of the fixes found on the link you've suggested. I can adjust the PS menu and Layers print size to be a size that I like; but, that creates another issue, which I don't like......My Windows Start page Apps all get really large and misaligned from the arrangement I'm use to. That's why I can't find a suitable PS/CR print size I like. The larger sizes mess up my Start page.

Is there a way to get the Start App boxes smaller without the labels (print) inside of them going away? (All my medium size App boxes have words that tell me what the App is about.) And I have a lot of those boxes.

As my eyes started to "go south" I found the only solution for me was to reduce the resolution from the monitors native 1920X1200 to 1680 X 1050. This only changes how much fine detail is available to see, it does not change the file resolution at all so prints and images displayed full resolution on other monitors will not be affected. Yes it bothers me not to be able to use my monitor at its max but, if I really want to see an image in all its glory, the resolution is an easy thing to change.

Thanks Rich. You've hit the nail on the head. My eyes aren't what they used to be. Unfortunately I feel that reading those tiny words is making my eyes worse. It only happens with PS/CR. All my other Apps are fine.

I did reduce the resolution as you've suggested. That seemed to bother my eyes as I wasn't getting the really sharp images I (my eyes) was use to. Actually I didn't realize how sharp my images were until I lowered the resolution.

Thanks for trying to help me.

I fixed the problem the only way I could figure out.
In Display>Scale and layout, I chose 175%.
That gave me the PS label print sizes I like.
I altered the size of all my Start page Apps to "small".
Although I lost the small print on each of the Apps,
I can still hover over the Apps to identify them.

Thanks for helping guys.

I had a similar problem when I bought a new hi-def monitor. Everything worked beautifully except my photoshop menus. It drove me crazy trying everything until I came across this website. Easy resolution and it works fine now.
Good luck!

Thanks Gatorcoach, but I'm satisfied with my current fix.
I went to your link and it looked to risky for me.
Thanks anyway.

The only permanent solution is for the software producers to test their products on high resolution monitors and fix it in the s/w. I open problem reports with the vendors when I run into this situation. That has worked, but sometimes (usually) the wait time is measured in years.
